These are different from traditional UV lamps in their ability to emit radiation with a single wavelength (typically 395 and 365 nm). The UV radiation generated by these lamps is very high, despite having low electricity consumption (max. 20 W/cm).
They do not generate heat and are therefore particularly suited to sensitive substrates.
LED lamps must be positioned close to the surface (0.1–5 cm).
